At Soul Insole, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We continuously strive to improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to make our website welcoming and usable for all. 

Our commitment and recent improvements 

In February 2026, the soulinsole.com Shopify store underwent a comprehensive accessibility audit and technical remediation. We are actively working to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards. The website owner and administrative team are dedicated to constantly enhancing, testing, and  maintaining these accessibility standards across the store. 

Accessible features 

During our recent updates, we implemented several features to ensure a more inclusive 
browsing and shopping experience: 

• Keyboard navigation: Our storefront is fully navigable using a keyboard, allowing 
  users who cannot use a mouse to browse products, read content, and complete the 
  checkout process seamlessly. 
• High contrast visuals: We have optimized our color palettes and typography to 
  ensure high contrast, making text and interactive elements easier to read for users 
  with visual impairments. 
• Replacement of images of text: Historically, some of our legacy content relied on 
  using images to display text. We have actively audited and recreated these elements 
  using standard HTML and CSS. This ensures that the text is fully scalable, readable 
  by screen readers, and customizable to user preferences. 

Known limitations 

While we strive for complete accessibility, soulinsole.com is an older website with a deep 
archive of content. Because of this, there are known limitations that are currently impossible to fully fix due to the age of the legacy system. Specifically, users may encounter accessibility barriers within the blog area. Much of this legacy content may lack proper heading structures, image alt text, or fully compliant formatting.
