Our BASE Customizable Soft Insole provides extreme cushioning along with built-in ergonomic support that gently guides the feet to proper alignment. It comes with 2 Gel Ramps that can be used to customize the support and reduce pressure where you need it most. Made of our specially designed high rebound foam, this insole feels like walking on a playground mat. The material is flexible, while its biomechanically designed shape gives the perfect amount of structure for effective support. Unlike other insoles which make your shoes too tight, the BASE Customizable Orthotics taper down in the toe area to allow plenty of space for your toes to wiggle.

How to Use

Step 1: Trim the insoles to fit perfectly inside of your existing shoes.
Step 2: Try insoles on to see how they feel
Step 3: If additional support is desired, utilize the included Gel Ramps

There are many ways to place Ramps:
-Inside of shoes that don’t have a removeable liner
-On top of a removable liner
-Underneath a removable liner
-On top of another orthotic insole
Placement for the arch region:
-If additional arch support is needed, place the gel ramp in the arch region of your shoe or insole with the thicker side closer to the inner edge and tapering thinner close to the outside edge
-This arch placement can be desired for plantar fasciitis, flat feet, fallen arches or high arches
For the ball of foot region:
-Use the ramps to offload pressure from the front part of your foot
-Place the ramp so that the thickest part drops off right before your pain point to somewhat suspend the bones and offload pressure by supporting the metatarsal heads
-Ramps can help provide relief for conditions such as Morton’s Neuroma, Fat Pad Atrophy, Metatarsalgia, Sesamoiditis, Neuromas, Burning Sensations at the ball of the foot, cushioning calluses, and bunion pain
For the inner talus region for pronation:
-If the feet are over pronated, the feet and ankles are falling inwards, then the Soul Insole Ramps can be placed on the inner edge near the heel of the shoe or insole/insert
-Place the ramp with the ticker edge on the inner edge and tapering thinner closer to the outside edge
For the outer heel region for supination:
-If the feet over supinate or if you tend to wear out the outer corners of the heel edges of your shoes, then the Ramps can be placed on the outer edge near the heel of the shoe or insole/insert
-Place the ramp with the thicker edge on the outside edge and tapering thinner closer to the inside edge

Care Instructions

To clean the BASE insoles, dish soap and water on a towel can be used to scrub them clean. Or you can use a foot deodorizer spray.
To wash the Gel Ramps, remove them from your BASE full length insoles, run them under cool water and rub off any dust or debris
A dish soap can be used but is not necessary. Do not use hand soap as hand soaps often have lotions in them
Set out to air dry indoors (avoid sunlight)
Once dry the adhesive will regenerate and they are ready to be used again
Do not place in dishwasher or dryer
Please store your Ramps in a cool, dry place away from sunlight

Why should I buy your insoles, if I can get $15 drugstore insoles?

$15 for a pair of insoles is a tempting option, indeed. However, it could be a wasted $15 as well. Cheap insoles usually provide a cushioning, but they lack any kind of arch support and this cushioning can quickly compress and become useless. More rigid drugstore insoles may have some arch support, which is a necessary feature for improving foot alignment, however it is made of a hard plastic that can result in other foot pains.

Should I put this on top of the sole that comes in my shoes?

We recommend removing the existing insole liners that come with your shoes and replacing them with the Soul Insole BASE Orthotics. You can use the existing liner as a template for trimming the BASE Orthotics to the shape of your shoes. This way, the BASE Orthotics will fit seamlessly without taking up extra space and crowding your feet. (If the existing insole liner is not removable, or if your shoes are too wide and your goal is to take up extra space, you can add the BASE on top of the existing shoe liner)

I have plantar fasciitis, will these help?
